That's a bit sad, innit? "I listen to radio 2" maybe (occasionally) but "Love radio 2"? No way Pedro! Certainly not enough to start a MySpace site!

Terry should play his old jingles. Perhaps he will in his twilight years. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Or even his signature tune from his 1960s / 70s show (The 'Fight the flab' / Wogan's Winner era) _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Why don't radio shows have signature tunes anymore? Surely in a world with much more choice it is even more important to make shows stand out. I bet that quite a lot of Rajar diaries are filled in based upon names that people can remember as opposed to strictly what they listen to. If a good signature tune gets you noticed, then why not? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Maybe he got confused and thought it was somewhere he could post a picture of his 'little friend'.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
