So Al's electricity bill is 20 times that of the average American. He must be leaving the appliances on standby overnight. Wink

Not the internet per se, but certainly the term 'information superhighway'. He did, however, initiate the funding program that led to the first graphical browser, which truly opened up the Internet - the "Gore Bill".

The World Wide Web had already been proposed three years earlier in Switzerland.
