Mark, I can't find a thread about fat kids, so I'm starting one.
fat kids annoy me, and their mums.
That 8 year-old who is 14st. He was asked what his favourite musical instrument was at school. The fat lump said the dinner bell!

Its amazing that there is so much focus on anorexia when obesity affects probably 10 times as many kids. If models & celeb's were affected it would soon be solved me thinks. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

You know, if that kid had looked as though he was just skin and bones, or turned up with bruises on his face each day, the teachers at his school would have probably informed Social Services.

There were so few fat kids in my Primary School; only "Fatty" Ruck and his sister Janice. That was out of a huge Inner London Primary.
However loads of us qualified for "Free Meals",so it couldn't be poverty. |

Lack of activity! Some of us were out mugging and nicking off at an early age, that's what kept the youth of South London fit!
I would hasten to add I was never into that. |

It all comes down to up-bringing. Some family's are active, others are not. _________________ Over the hill they came....the greatest Army in the World.....The Tartan Army |
