Is it SXSW time again? Oh joy. I can see the advantage of a music exec going there to find new music, but it all seems like a pointless jolly - they only end up with British bands anyway!

I wonder if Bob Harris & Stuart Maconie will be over there too. That's one gig they usually get.

Mr W won't be happy if you suggest that Dermot moves in next door to him. It would lower the tone of the neighbourhood. Laughing Laughing

So Gambo thinks O'Leary is a peace emissary? Maybe they should send him to Baghdad not Austin Texas then! Laughing

They should have sent the little squirt to Guantanamo Bay for crashing the end of Genesis's Land Of Confusion with his silly jingle!

Was Dermot pre-recorded on Saturday? No handover with Stuart, and all the texts seemed to come "from the website." Admittedly, sometimes it's hard to tell if O'Leary's live or not but I wonder if complaints could be made about texts and phone-calls being encouraged for pre-recorded shows?

Will Dermot be taken off air pending the investigation?

Chris Evans was being unusually candid about this when it all first started to be an issue, saying that it had been going on for years in the industry. Presumably he would know as he was producing as well as presenting shows.

He seems to have gone quiet on the topic since then. Laughing
