Roger Royle's retirement from Sunday Half Hour next month, however well deserved, will leave a big hole in the network. His influence on my spiritual life over the last 20 years or so has been incalculable. I do hope that there will still be a Christian based programme on Sunday evenings after his departure.

Happy retirement, Roger!

Ian.

Roger will be missed, I shall miss his cheerful soothing voice and that mad laugh of his Laughing

Enjoy your retirement Roger.

No doubt Dame Lesley will use Roger's retirement as an excuse to scrap SHH, I fully expect Russell Brand to be given another "show". Could things get any worse?

Roger said this morning he will still be doing pause for thought. He said he is retiring as he wants to take it easy for a while, he's 68 so actually past retirement age already, same age as Tel...

Today's PFT with Canon Rog was one of the best I'd heard for a long a long time. I look forward to his words of wisdom as and when they come.

Hi Mikeraphone, not bad thanks, how's things with you?

Have you had the misfortune to hear any of Russell Brand's "show"? I heard 30 secs by mistake the other week, and that contained about 10 swear words!

I heard about 5 minutes in the car about a month ago.
No music in that time of course.
All innuendo style humour with a load of others just joining in.
Did nothing for me at all Very Happy

For the avoidance of doubt:

Russell Brand makes my flesh crawl

Roger Royle will be missed.

Hope that clarifies!
