Whilst doing some last minute chores yesterday evening I switched on Radio 2 and Malcolm Laycock was on.

Whilst the music he plays s certainly not to my taste I could not help but notice how well spoken, articulate and so polite Malcolm was. It struck me as though he was talking to just me on the radio.

Contrast this to 24hours earlier when Russell Brand was on the radio-whilst much closer to my age bracket I can only call his radio style "zoo style".

Maybe I am getting old.

Hi John-This does not surprise me-he struck me as a good guy-first time I have heard him to be honest.

So what does he do for the rest of the week? I often wonder what some of these guys do as a day job?
