I can't help thinking that, given the Arab abhorrence of "losing face", Tony Blair's thinly veiled threats today about "moving into a different phase" are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in defusing this situation.
And although I haven't been following this closely, I'm not too sure that our "Nato allis" have been over vociferous in their condemnation of this outrageous behaviour on the part of the Iranians. |
