Just a quick reminder Lesley that you need to set your alarm clock nice and early on both Good Friday and Easter Monday as the best dj/presenter around Richard Allinson is back on Radio 2 covering the breakfast slot.

Wake up to Allinson -you know it makes sense.

Is a Wright/Evans - free Easter Dame Lesley's gift to the British people?

Mark,

I think you'll find that is the only show she does listen to completely and if she misses it, she puts it on Broadcast listen again throughout Broadcasting house.. so everyone except whoever is on air gets to listen to it too. Smile

Well there is that walk out to the car park at 5:15 and stopping off for a bag of chips on the way home .. so there are parts of Drivetime that go unheard.... Very Happy

Lesley-Is your excitement building-just a few hours to go now before Richard Allinson takes his rightful place in the Radio 2 hot seat in respect of the breakfast show to be delivered on Good Friday 2007.

Perhaps you should have an early night luv just to ensure you are wide awake at 7am.

Bring it on Richard Allinson.

Hi Guys-Why not set your alarm early and tune in-surely it will make a change from the tired old Wogan format.

You never know you might find the experience an enjoyable one-just a thought.

Sorry Mark I'm not getting up a 7am on a bank holiday for anyone.

Besides I like the 'tired' Rolling Eyes Wogan format which still pulls roughly 8 million listeners.

I will be up early. Assuming I dont drink too much tonight. Hitting the road at 7 tomorrow morning so I probably will hear most of Allinson despite my grousing.

Good man Ernie.

I'm sure Richard will deliver an excellent show on Good Friday-hopefully this show will keep you company whilst you are on the road.

Deep down I know you are a Richard Allinson fan really!

Are you kidding? At the end of the day, it's just radio, no matter who's presenting!

I wouldn't keep coming on here and critising Terry, it's a little unfair.

Well Richard broke the text machine, something seems to fall off or break when he's on duty. Maybe Terry tells him how too do it Laughing

I woke up at 7.20am and put the radio on. Sore throat this morning, richard Very Happy

Great show delivered by Richard today-enjoyed the great selection of music played.

Enjoyed the good banter between Richard and Roger Royal at around 9.20am.

Looking forward to hearing Richard again on Easter Monday.

Same punch line as some poster were trying to push her over to R3 when the old R2 boards were open. Laughing

If you want to listen again to RA's show from this morning, you have to select Terry Wogan's FRI button - it's not listed separately as some of the cover DJs are.

And I bet you faithfully listened to all of it. There's a life beyond keeping one's ears glued to the radio on a bank holiday weekend.

Well, I didn't - heard the first twenty minutes or so whilst having breakfast, missed the rest as I was working in the garden (yes, I got an early start!).

Excellent show delivered by Richard Allinson earlier today-really enjoyed it and certainly worth getting up early for.

Hope its not too long before Richard returns to Radio 2.

Looking forward also to the Record Producers show tonight at 7pm.

I think you mean normal boring service resumed tomorrow.

Still at least Dermot O'Leary is on-the highlight of this week's day time schedules.
