I'm no fan of pop idol, x-factor etc or Gareth's music but after seeing the 'Whatever happened to Gareth Gates ?' documentary and hearing him on the radio you tend to feel sorry for him and the way he appears to have been used by a section of the music industry and then dumped when his ideas didn't fit theirs.
What do others think ? |

Yes but he did get his 15 minutes of fame as well. It may well be sordid but everybody got something out of it.

He's back with a new single called " Changes" . He's done well with his voice, had voice coaching etc etc.. Blimey it's been nearly 5 years since he was on Pop Idol.

I think he's an inspiration - the MaGuire programme looks really good (allbeit tough) - am going to try and get myself a place on one methinks 
hate his music though!

Good luck to Gareth. He's a talented, amiable young man who doesn't deserve the vitriolic scorn and sniping that many in 'the biz', and beyond, have seen fit to pour on him. I wish him well.
