I used to like him for being what he was. A naturally, down to earth person and we all know the housewives loved him too!  |

I admit that I liked Jimmy Young, too. I felt kind of sorry for him when Jim Moir axed him after all those years of being with the BBC. It just proves no matter how long you've worked for Auntie, it means nothing. Just look at the way poor Ed Stewart was kicked out the door.  |

...and from what I remember he used to present an interesting well balanced discussion programme NOT the tabloid, sensationalist, argumentative stuff of JV.  |
