I like the new photo's on the topics but doesn't Jeremy look like a cross between Bruce Forsythe and Worzel Gummidge! _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

Yeah, but he does in nearly every picture these days. Case in point - the photo with Mark Ratcliffe to promote Likely lads show.
He's winding one up to thump someone _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

I think Jeremy looks a bit like the older Steptoe.
And who's the guy just above Sir Tel? And the old guy? |

Of course! Thankyou. For a while I was trying to morph his features into what I remember of Desmond Carrington. |

I think it's John Dunne. A broadcaster without peer of superior. _________________ Geddon

Gosh, I didn't think folks needed telling who the faces were
So, now if you hover your mouse over each photo, their names are revealed!

John,
If you could replace the one of Chris Evans for one of Richard Allinson I'd be most grateful!
I find it hard to look at his grinning face...

That's an old photo of Jeremy, I'd guess it goes back to the days when he used to present the Politics Show on a Sunday.

Like the photos a good idea - don't like the one of Jeremy not the best one I've seen!!
We have much better ones, but as we haven't asked him yet whether he minds, that's why there is no photo on our site |

Hi Becky,
We don't need to ask the presenters regarding photos at bbc.co.uk, the Terms of Use on the BBC website says we can use any image so long as not for commercial reasons, so my understanding is we can use 'em, clip 'em, paste 'em.

I know. I think that having Titchmarsh next to the Gripes section reflects John's opinion, but really it's Wrighty's natural home! |

I have to say I agree with you totally, QS. It puts me off as soon as I look into the board.
There's no picture of Johnnie Walker either

Lets be frank here-the choice of pictures here is some what shambolic-no rhyme or reason by the adminsitrators from where I sit as to why which picture chosen etc.
It would have been more fun surely to vote/ask the punters which picture is best suited to the subject matter.
Keep up the good work! |

Thanks Mark
I did think of that but the result of such a poll would have left half the group disappointed So I thought it best to upload what I had and change them every so often.
Evans will be gone soon, but if I replace him with Steve Wright then all hell will break loose
I have a couple of Johnnie Walker and Ken Bruce and others. If folks have photos to submit please post them in the photobucket, or in a message here, and I can size them for the homepage.

These have been cropped and uploaded with others, indeed it's all change on the homepage. That'll make at least some folks happier !!
