I find the Mark & Stuart show good, but too early, and I don't want shows about Studio 54 etc at 10:30pm Confused

I agree - I'm enjoying Stuart and Mark's show - but I don't want to listen to shows like that "Studio 54" last night. I know I might be off to bed earlier than some - but I just want something mellow to relax me and send me to sleep (which Mark R didn't always do but at least he played good music between the chat)

I like to listen to documentary type programmes when I'm wide awake!

Don't suggest I listen to CD's because then my alarm won't go off in the morning - well it will - but it won't play music and wake me up Shocked

I agree with Nod and RB about the documentaries being on too late.

For me, it means either trying to fit them into a busy "Listen Again" schedule or, inevitably, missing out on them altogether because there's not enough hours in the week (and as the summer progresses, I'll be out all day over the weekends).

1 more listener lost to many of these shows. Sad

I have to agree with Cherisky, I never usually listen to the radio at that time of night - I've listened to a bit of Radders and mackers and liked what I heard (thought it was going to be like Mackers and nodday at Christmas, and you know what - some of it was!).

Listen again or miss it completely.

And I'm sorry but I ain't staying up till 12 to listen to sound of 70's. Used to like this for the music but hey, ho.

I like the Radders and Maccers show too but also think it's on too early - would be much better after 9pm (ie I could then fit it into my busy schedule without having to try and find the time listen to it via Listen Again).

I think that the "Likely Lads" are doing a great show, and find as the week has gone on their banter and comments have got better. I particularly enjoyed tonites show, with Noddy Holder, the 3 of them seem to compliment each other. I would probably agree that 9 - 11 would be better, but what would be even better, in fact couldn't be beat, IMHO, would be 1700 - 1900 Monday thru Friday.

I'd agree about the mumbling and muttering. Why do we need 2 presenters anyway?

Bar about 5 minutes on Tuesday I've not had the chance to listen so can't comment on the show.

Richard Allinson?

Without him I would not listen to the radio at all.

We don't need 2 presenters, however, IMHO, they compliment each other with their very different styles and music tastes. At the very least their knowledge and enthusiasm for the music they play comes thru; also the show is about the music and their guests and not them. It works for me, as I have said before, you can please some of the people some of the time, if it don't work for you, do as I do for Driveltime, retune or switch off!

I doubt I'll bother to listen because I rarely do at that time of day anyway. Shame because I like Stuart, but not Mark that much.

No doubt there will be a lot more chat than I like in the evenings anyway.

I find I'm switching off a lot more these days than switching on sadly.

I love the Radcliffe-Maconie show but I'm not sure about the rest. Last night, I wanted to listen to Ball on Broadway and Clive Anderson but I wasn't really able to give it my full concentration.

I really think that the 11pm-12.30 shows (with the possible exception of Steve Lamacq) should be moved down to 7pm so that the later nighttime shows are more music-orientated.
