Swifts getting phone calls to tell them to come earlier?
Well, I've just seen newly hatched thrushes in my garden, kept telling them to go back to the nest, but did they listen?

We only have 2 seasons now, wet, windy & gloomy and sunny & hot. There doesnt seem to be any in between anymore.

Apperently, in Chicago, there are 2 seasons, namely winter and August.

I'd like that. Can't stand the heat! We've had no rain for over a month here in Limburg. At least 10 days this month the temperature has been around 28C - 30C which is about 15 degrees higher than the average for April. I am already sick of summer ... Sad
