Couldn't resist posting just to point out that this is my 300th posting on this site.
I hope to post on much more yet.

Ian,
There are now 19 of us that have posted 300+ times which IMO makes us the hard - core regular posters. _________________ Geddon

Toggy,
I thought a lady NEVER mentioned her age
I will consider myself thoroughly admonished and get my coat. _________________ Geddon

Doing the numbers, on average, about 10% of views result in a posting, similarly about 10% of us are regular posters.
Surely the relatively silent majority have something to say, even if it is how mad the rest of us are. So, Bang the rocks togethers, Guys and make some noise! _________________ Geddon

Exactly: quantity isn't always quality, although I am reminded of one of Uncle Joe Stalin's quotes: "Quantity has a quality all of its own."
Anyway, judging by the speed that Seymour's churning them out, I predict that he'll surpass me by the end of June at this rate.... or sooner! _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Passing 25 is quite a milestone for some! (Posts that is...not age....passed that a while ago...) _________________ "I'm a firm believer in not having to play the hand you're dealt." |

I don't want to a killjoy here but to me noting how many posts one makes on this message board is a bit sad.
By the way I ain't doing bad though in this regard-476.
I would guess at least 50% of mine are do with Richard Allinson/are related with RA in some shape or form.
Thinking about this some more yeah I guess I am a bit sad. |

Sadly, I can't think of that many witty and erudite things to post, although I enjoy reading others comments.
Oh yes, my blackcurrant bushes are doing extremely well this year and I do like Richard Allinson. |

Clearly IWarburtons hero is Brian Matthews.
Lets hope BM's is still alive and kicking then when IWarburton reaches his personal goals of "thousands" of messages posted. He (BM) is after all getting on a bit. |

Don't quite understand how this conclusion has been reached. Certainly enjoy BM as a presenter and have done since Saturday Club/Thank Your Lucky Stars days but 'hero' is a slight overstatement.
I don't even know if I'll live long enough to do thousands of messages, let alone BM!
