RIP, "Boris" Crying or Very sad

I love that song... always a place for humour in music- something many people forget, unfortunately.

Yes, a good, fun song. I'm certain I remember the 62 release more than the 70s version.
He'll be a graveyard smash...

Depends where you were at the time, I suppose, as Auntie Beeb shielded our ears from it on its original release. It was also reissued in the US in '73 and reached No 10.

I remember it being a hit in the 70's, though I can also recall the Beeb playing the Bonzos' cover.

Yes he always seemed to have a good sense of humour & never took himself too seriously. Amazing how he made a career out of one song.
