What did you think of the 2 hour programme last night re the climax to the current Lost series.
I thought it was excellent but I was sorry/sad the end came for Charlie.
Still no more Lost until early 2008-what I am going to do with myself at 10pm on a Sunday evienng until it returns-tuning into David Jacobs on Radio 2 is not an option I'm afraid! |

Haven't seen it yet, Mark, so thanks for the spoiler!
Was getting a little sick of the show at the end of S2 and have only seen six episodes in S3 so far, all ripped since I don't have/want Sky.
Mind you, I lost faith in long-running American SF series a while back - they tend to jump the shark midway through their run. The X-Files did it when Mulder was written out for a couple of seasons, whilst Babylon 5 did too when JMS realised the show wasn't going to be cancelled after all at the end of S4, just after he'd nicely tied up everything. Enterprise should have been strangled at birth, whilst Firefly was treated shabbily by Fox and should have been given more of a chance.
And how the hell does Ghost Whisperer get renewed when Jericho doesn't? _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Without giving away any plots, I did enjoy the finale but wonder if the writers have given us all a good chance to jump off? The island's story hasn't been revealed but many of the characters have. |

I had watched it from the very begining but I haven't seen it since it went to sky. So I have no idea whats going on.
After a safe period of time has elapsed (so as not to spoil it for anyone who has yet to watch it ) could someone tell me What happened to everyone ?? _________________ Put some records on while I pour |

Never actually watched it so i am not bothered one way or the other.
I can not be bothered to watch something week after week at the same time.
I enjoyed Life on Mars but that was 8 one hour shows. _________________ The Voice of reason in a MAD MAD world |

I see that the final series of this show returns in Feb 08.
Anyone still remotely interested in this show.
It used to be my favourite weekly show-however I have lost interest now-in view they have all been rescued what can the next series possibly be about-life before the Island I guess.
Will you be tuning in? |

Is it me, but I now find television as appealing as watching paint dry. I do watch the news and will maybe watch The Long Way Down, but forgot tonight so will end up buying the DVD, as I did for The Long Way Round. I am too busy doing more interesting and fulfilling things, live music at the pub, Cubs 2 nights a week, programme planning for Cubs, watching my grandson play footie, biking, RAFA meetings and listening to music on radio, CD & vinyl. By the way what is Lost and all this s1, s2 etc.? And lost!

The final series? Are you sure? I thought there was another 3 series (of 16 episodes) left.
I'll be watching anyway! |

I've never ever been inspired to watch Lost at all. I did, though, watch the latest of Steven Poliakoff's superbly-written and brilliantly-produced dramas - "Joe's Palace" on BBC1 last night. A single Poliakoff is worth 50 over-hyped US television series. |
