D'er, erm, erm, d'erm, d'uh, erm, er, um,um.... I hope you are kidding, the bloke's a bloody useless amateur. Radcliffe makes me almost ashamed to be a Northerner, this 8 o'clock gig he has with Maconie is poor enough with Stuart propping him up but daytime ? on his own ?
Get Lady Spud's mate in, better yet swap him for Radcliffe, flirt Radcliffe on the locals and get Baker in. |
Agreed! (unsurprisingly!!) Yeah, I think Radcliffe has great Peel-esq wit about him, but his tone and delivery is not best suited to daytime IMHO.
Mark and Lard worked coz of its cult studenty appeal, but they crashed and burned in the more mainstream Breakfast slot. Given R2's wide daytime demographic (ie not just students) I think he'd have a hard time. _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |

Heaven forbid!! I'm already switching R2 off more & more because of the shouters that Lesley Douglas has been signing up, I'd like a little left to enjoy.
Mark was on that BBC 2 programme about the OGWT a couple of nights ago and I don't think I heard a single 'Err' whenever he spoke. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

The guy in this picture is 5' 7" ( a real sweetie)....... ( hence my "box" comment on the get together thread)
or there's this one....the day I went to see We will rock you

For our get together I think it will be, more " afternoon shopping in Brum with my hubby", than "Friday night clubbing in Soho with the girls" but yes Cher .. I do like leather. |

Fair comment... but you didn't have to send me the pictures to prove it, though

Your dead right PJ, I always wear tights under me leathers in winter, they look real good with me high riding boots; bit of a bummer when they're not crotchless though!

Don't you find the crothless ones tend to whistle in the breeze, though BB? _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

No PJ, cause they be under your leathers and allow easy access to your whistle, rather than whistle in the breeze

It's obvious, even to a Southerner like me.... one sounds like you're kissing a whippet- and the other , like you've got a gob full of barm!
