Anyone watched it? Russell Brand appears as himself in the show  No not really...
When I say that Matthew Kelly makes my skin crawl, it's meant as a compliment. As twisted killer Brian Wicklow he coats his performance with a slick of such calculating evil that it makes you long to have a good wash. However, for this episode our attention is mainly focused on TV's drippiest copper, DS Eve Granger (Jemma Redgrave), her no-nonsense boss DI Hazel Norton (the magnificent Pauline Quirke) as well as murderer and all-round enigma Jake (John Hannah) as they reopen an inquiry into the murder of a teenage girl. The plot is satisfyingly labyrinthine, but best of all is seeing Russell Brand as a creepy anorak of a stalker. That's your sex-symbol status gone for a burton, Russell. |

Damn, I missed it! 
Matthew Kelly was brilliant in the last one.
Give Russell Brand his due, at least he's trying his hand at different things.
