And anyone in N Ireland not wanting to splash out £1.40 on it can save 40p and get the Irish MOS!

Why not.

Will definetly try buy the Mail on Sunday to get this new album.

Maybe Prince is going to set a new trend here regarding the future release of new music this way. We the public/listeners can only benefit surely.

It only serves to artificially bump up the sales figures of the Mail on Sunday, and that cannot be good for anyone, in my opinion. If they have to offer CD's by Prince they must be getting desperate. I guess "good honest journalism" is outside their capability.

I'm not that keen on "The artist formerly known as the artist known as" Prince, either, come to think of it.

Word is that The Sun will be giving away Madness's new CD at some point in the near future.

I can see most of the red tops trying the same sort of thing later this year.

Hardly surprising under the circumstances, I guess.

I saw the ad for the MOS on telly tonight. I'll think I'll pass on the Artist Formerly Known as the Artist Formerly Talented's Album Great Album Giveaway!

Listening to the CD now, it's pretty good so far.

Totally agree, buy the paper, keep the CD, bin the paper (or as we do keep it to light the fire in winter) Very Happy

Prince aparently gets £250,000 from the deal. 3m copies will be given away. His last album sold only 80,000 copies in the UK.

And even if it doesn't, it came free with the paper, so no great loss. What was the newspaper like? Smile

There is a review somewhere on the Mail's website which has the track listing.

It's a pretty good album, better than his last one definately, I really like Track 2 (Guitar)
