The NHS Trust which covers Scarborough, Whitby and Malton in North Yorkshire has agreed a package of cuts to jobs, to reduce a large deficit.
But it's also agreed to recruit two directors at a salary of £76k each, including employer's costs, to implement this.
Is it me....

Well Ian, accountants will have calculated that if they can lose more than 10 staff, especially with low redundancy payments, then it'll be worth getting two HR managers in to plan it |

They will also close the maternity provision in Bridlington.
The chief exec was on Look North last night and was rightly given an extremely hard time.
The nearest maternity hospital is at either Scarboroght (20 miles) or Hull (25 miles)
Never mind the staff, let's hire more bean counters! _________________ Geddon
