Not the DJ, but the actor who played the role as Frank Butcher in the BBC show. He was also a well-known stand-up comedian. Died of a heart attack in Spain.

That's a shame.. I've listened to some of his stand up comedy routines and to be fair, he was really funny with a super fast delivery. Not everybody's cup of tea maybe, but I think it's sad.
I wonder if Pat will wear her earings half mast?

Sorry to learn of the actor's death.

Can anyone remember whether his EastEnders character is still living? Mrs W says he isn't, I say he is. If I'm right, then no doubt he'll be killed off away from the cameras.

Didn't he fake his own death in Eastenders? I remember Peggy went over to Spain in black only to see him skulking around the street!

Someone told me at work today that he was a body double for Roger Moore in some of the Bond films - particularly when they wanted a shot in a swimming pool. Is this true? Question
