And so it's ae fond kiss from me as I depart on holiday--hurrah!
Love coming on here to debate, reminisce, joke and occasionally torment!
Shall do it all again from mid-September, DV.
Best wishes to all.

Well, that was soon over, wasn't it?
But thanks for good wishes. We had a very good two weeks in Canada, rounding off our Pearl Wedding Anniversary celebrations.
Yes, it is 4:57am. My time clock hasn't returned to its usual setting yet!
Now it's back to normal or what passes for it. See you around.

Meant to add--last Sunday we were in Toronto and managed to hear much of their local equivalent to SOTS. A surprising amount of familiar stuff, with many British acts included--the Beatles, Petula Clark, the Dave Clark Five, Herman's Hermits etc.
We went on a city tour with mostly British fellow-travellers and the programme was played on the coach radio. Discussion of the items revealed the presence of quite a few SOTS avids in the group.
In fact we heard a large proportion of 60s music everywhere we went in Canada.

I was over there a year ago. I had a great time, including two flights. One over Niagara falls and a week or so later another over Toronto, flying round the CN Tower. I love going over there. When I've been over there, it usually takes about a week before I'm back running on UK time! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
