I'm in listen again heaven today. First it was Suzi Q, then Des C, now its Paul G's show. He said that has only two more fabulous flips selections left. Are the shows features changing in the New Year?

Good choice last Saturday from Buddy Holly and Well.. All right and John Denver's Sunshine on My Shoulders.

Denver was a fantastic singer, who gets over looked a lot. A least Sir tel gives him due respect.

Maybe Alan Titchmarsh is replacing him with 90 minutes of gardening phone-ins?

Gambo will still be there Laughing but I think he is adding some features and dropping others. BTW O'Leary must have been pre-recorded last week as there was no live handover.

I reckon Paul Gambaccini might be lined up for a new show on Radio 2 - "America's Greatest Tits". George Bush will be his first guest. Laughing Laughing

I would rather he had Pamela Anderson on. Not a great show for radio though.

I'll never forget Paul Gambaccini last year after reading Iain Smith's stupid posting that he was being moved to Sundays:

"Sunday, is our day for America's Greatest Hits. LIAR! LIAR!" Laughing Laughing

He may be off to host next years X Factor if the rumours are true. Wossy did a near the knuckle joke at the British Comedy Awards about Kate Thornton last week.

He said that the nominees would be hanging on every word like Kate Thornton was hanging onto her job Rolling Eyes

Hopefully - on another radio station. As for Kate Thornton, maybe she should be given a second chance on Radio 2. I don't think she's that bad actually.

She wasn't impressive on the Dawn Patrol back in April 2004. But that was nearly 3 years ago. Give her another chance.

Sorry but I don't think she has improved at all.

Lined up against a wall and pelted with tomatoes, preferably.

I think Gambo's show could do with a bit of a spring clean, but I really really hope we don't get yet another change to the Saturday line-up anytime soon. It's getting silly now.
