It's quite outrageous that the Chief Executive of the Trust at the centre of this should be allowed to resign on a six-figure payout and, as far as it goes, the government is quite right to try to block payment of this.

But isn't the Government itself a teensy-weensy bit responsible too? Who's taking the blame on its behalf? Or do I know the answer to that already?

It goes to show the government are not doing there job sorting out the NHS.
