Chris Moyles started his breakfast show half an hour earlier today, as part of a schedule shake-up. But, according to a national newspaper, the former Signal Radio DJ will not be getting any extra money for it.
It has been reported he already earns over £600,000 a year, but the 33 year old will not gain a pay rise for the extra hours. The Daily Star Sunday works it out as being an extra 43 days work a year for nothing, and one comment says they (Moyles, Wogan etc) should “shut up and be grateful they still earn so much of public's money.”
Jobs cuts by the BBC will be announced later this week.

All very well, but it'll be interesting to see what happens when Moyles' contract comes up for renewal. Anyone know when that will be? _________________ Ron |

I think he just signed one? I don't think he would get more pay if he went somewhere else. |

Great timing! I think they all have - Wogan, Woss, Norton, Brand as well. _________________ Ron |
