Tottenham Hotspur manager Martin Jol has parted company with the club after their poor start to the season.
Jol tendered his resignation before taking charge for the game against Getafe - a 2-1 defeat in the Uefa Cup.

It can be hard on the Manager if they lose the dressing room. The players get paid enough every week so they should play for what they earn, whether they dont agree with the Manager at the time or whatever. |

I'd have thought that the Premiership was more important than winning the dressing room. They're sweaty places normally.
