Danny Baker will be presenting 6 Music breakfast from January 2008!
Shame he's not replacing Sick Note and Wogan in the mornings on Radio 2! It IS a good step in the right direction, though!
My guess is The Candy Man is being groomed to succeed Wogan!

My guess is try and bring in more listeners for 6 music? I think it's a good move go straight to a digital radio station, instead a FM all round radio station like Radio 2.
Is this true? |

It is an EXCELLENT move by Lesley Douglas! Shame it's not Radio 2 she's bringing him to but it is a step in the right direction! My guess is Baker may become Jonathan Ross' stand-in on Radio 2.
I was never a fan of Phill Jupitus on the 6 Music breakfast show but he is by far better than the current host - the loudmouthed George Lamb. Danny Baker will be a vast improvement, though.
As for George Lamb, I guess he's for the chop!  |

Hopefully you are right Iain.
Sorry Scott-can't stand this east end barrow boy-just can't see why people rave about him. I'm find him as funny as raging toothache to be honest. |
