My friend who knows people who work radio and tv in the uk tells me that he has see secret memo telling of the BBC plan to clse Radio 6 to save money. Why is this? Anybody knows more?

It would save money if they did drop this. I doubt it will in the future. I think the BBC may restructure a lot of Radio networks once the FM dial is switched off?

I know the BBC are looking to save money with selling buildings etc etc and moving up North.

6 Music should be relaunched into a station for the over 50s. I'd much rather the BBC pulled the plug on 1 Xtra and 5 Live Sports Extra.

Once they do sell off Television Centre they are not going to get the asking price. It's worth more than the ones who will buy it to build housing on.

Axe The ONE Show for starters. I'd much rather BBC One screened repeats of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and The Good Life than having the smug, grinning Adrian Biles and his daft sidekick on at 7pm, 5-nights-a-week.

The ONE Show is rubbish. Who was on there the other week self-promoting himself? Alan bloody Titchmarsh.

"I'm worried in case people start getting sick of me" he said (after Biles pointed out that Alan currently hosts a weekday afternoon chat show on ITV1, presents various documentaries on BBC One (that are also repeated on UKTV Documentary), was recently involved with the BBC Proms, and has a Sunday evening show on Radio 2 (which isn't to my taste)).

Sick of you, Alan? Whatever gives you that idea? You're as bad as Myleene Klass, another talentless person who has her snout in almost every trough.
