What a clutter of Music Stars trying to promote their comeback. Jason Donovan singing live without the guitar plugged in. Boyzone looking all out of date except the talented Ronan Keating. Spice Girls dancing for the new Children In Need single, but miming to it whilst they playout the radio version. Terry Wogan speaking spontaneously. Saying what he likes... ..commenting on someones nose hair and implying that cillas ( From corrie ) fat. Seems to think when hes stuck for things to say just insult or embarass them. It does seem a lot about me me me.....
We know the money does go to needy children, but they don't show enough VT's of this like Comic Relief do. Does Wogan go to see these poor underprivileged kids, like Capital Radio DJ's do for Help A London Child?
There has to be a balance somewhere and show more where the money goes to!! Instead we see people singing etc etc... |

Jason Donovan was awful! Why did he have to dig up one of old songs from 18 years ago?
The Spice Girls all look like they've had bad cosmetic surgery. No matter what any of them do to make themselves look young, they will always be 90s throwbacks.
By the way, why does Wogan always have to wear suits that are so tight he can't do all the buttons up? |

I thought it was great and really enjoyed the whole show
There seemed quite a lot of films about the kids to me I just loved that little lad who had been badly burnt in a house fire, he was so brave. Made me think, if only some adults I know could be as mature as he was
GREAT SHOW and WELL DONE to everyone who supports CIN fantastic result:D |

Read in the Telegraph today that last night's offering was part of a 'gig' for models and celebs, promoting 'Victoria's Secret'.
They mimed the entire 'gig'. What a sham - they didn't seem very co-ordinated either, seemed each was vying to be in front and the one to be looked at.
Jog on girls, a complete waste.. Their comback on the back of Take That is looking like a poor imitation. Whoever paid a huge amount to see them in concert, get ready to play mimes. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

I'm not quite sure why it should be so, but the whole evening has become an exercise in everybody embarassing themselves in the name of charity.
The artists' performances are always rank, there are always technical hitches like poor Lee Mead's malfunctioning mike, the "special editions" of programmes like Dr Who and Buzzcocks are always sub-standard and boring, and the local opt-outs are excrutiatingly shambolic.
Best spectacle of the night for me was Fiona Bruce in the number from Chicago - what legs!. And worst was Fearne Cotton - please someone tell me she was dressed like that for a very large donation. _________________ Ron |

I enjoyed it, overall. A decent variety show and I especially liked Doctor Who and, yes, Fiona Bruce's legs.

I thought the balance was much better than Comic Relief, which was relentless this year and not really good entertainment.

Not sure about that - I know they did do a Victoria's Secret gig, but I thought the CiN thing was separate. I noticed they were performing on the BBC's American Strictly Come Dancing set. Still rubbish, though!

I know! How can someone so skinny manage to look pregnant? And who told her it was a good look? |
