Was driving back from Southport this afternoon down to Sussex. Tuned through the stations and Londons Heart was playing Christmas Music and jingles Shocked London's Magic aired some Christmas songs too.

I doubt Radio 2 will play their jingles and music until the week before Christmas?

Most local stations start Dec 1st. I think Radio 2 starts on Dec 8th?

Lets hope so Mark, I would prefer Christmas music to be played only the last 2 weeks before Christmas.

Could be worse. It could have been Band Aid 2 Rolling Eyes

Have a 'listen again' to last Wednesday's Radcliffe & Maconie show where they talk about and play tracks from the Phil Spector Christmas album A Christmas Gift To You.

Real Radio have played Fairytale Of New York today, also Band Aid (my sister was singing 'Feed the birds...') and Jingle Bell Rock.

Me neither H. I've just had a look at last week's Ken Bruce playlists and saw he played Kate Bush's 'December Will Be Magic Again' last Wednesday (5/12) He's also playeded that comedy track about a Scottish Christmas, I forget the title & artist, I suspect it was the week before last, and, of course, as previously mentioned, Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie reviewed Phil Spector's Christmas album two weeks ago. I think Christmas came early to Radio 2 this year.
