I watched the Morecambe & Wise special on UKTV Gold earlier. I absolutely adore them! They have brightened up my Sunday night!

I'm glad the Breakfast scene was voted the best M&W moment! Laughing Laughing

They don't make entertainers like that anymore!

p.s. Richard Baker was on there doing somersaults! Shocked OK, they paid a stunt man to do those scenes, however! Laughing

Missed it, though I daresay they'll repeat it, several times, if the Vicar of Dibley compilation is anything to go by.

Personally, I thought the breakfast sketch was one of the lesser ones, and the timing slightly off.

Can't decide my favourite. Either Singin' In The Rain or Andre Preview's Piano Concerto (which was, incidentally, a sketch recycled from their pre-BBC years).

Can't remember which "play" it was but I loved the bit where Eric, dressed in safari shorts, spilled some crisps on his lap and Susan Hampshire ( I think ) brushed them off for him.
With that Eric grin, he quickly spilled some more! Laughing Laughing

Andrew Preview gets my vote.

Mr Previn proves to be as funny as his famous hosts.

When SOTS played the adaption of Grieg's Piano Concerto last week I thought of the Andrew Preview sketch!

Bum-Oo-Ya-Ta-Ta-Ta was on my mind constantly through a holiday where I was reading Jon Collins's Marillion biography - one of Fish's entourage was nicknamed Yatta!

The same track came to mind when seeing a picture of Hiro from Heroes in Radio Times - he had a word balloon with 'YATTA!' on.

I used to like that single when I was a kid. Me and my mates would try to sing it in the same way. Laughing we were easily pleased in those days.

Whenever I think of that record I'm also reminded of a TV show called " I packed my bag" ( and in my bag I put.... ) don't remember who presented it but it was good fun!
