Congratulations to Alesha Dixon for her win on this.
But credit, too, to Matt di Angelo for showing that he's much more than just a pretty boy in a soap.
The other winner is the art of ballroom dancing, which is enjoying a revival in the wake of the show.
WHEN will Bruce Forsyth get his knighthood?
Ian. |

Absolutely fantastic show! I loved every second of it and yes - Bruce should be a Sir without a doubt in my mind...
I didn't think there was a "Gnat's scrotum" as Len put it, between Alesha and Matt either but, based purely on the dances performed last night, I think it should have gone to Matt.
The Freestyle dance by Matt and Flavia was tremendous.
Although he didn't win, I'm sure to have reached the final in this way is good enough for him.
Well done to both of them!
I just wish it started all over again Saturday... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Good God- a garbage TV show.
Next you will be coming on here telling us that Steve Wright is a half decent presenter. |

Saturday's show was the best TV entertainment I've seen for a long, long time.
Superb dancing, great humour from the Judges, Bruce on top form as always, gorgeous costumes and set design, great band music, Spice Girls... and of course the nail biting finale! all of this and not a swear word or Big Brother lowlife in sight - just great talent, great entertainment.
I never liked Come Dancing back in the 50s and 60s or anytime up until this latest incarnation and, I don't have a dancing bone in my body.
But to see these people reach the standard displayed over the last few weeks through hard work and relentless training fills me with awe and admiration.
You could say Alesha stood a good chance from the outset because of her natural ability and let's face it, her figure! but Matt from Eastenders was a plank to start with and, he's only 20 years old!
When he "froze" a couple of weeks ago, I thought that would be it for him. Imagine it, you forgot your steps in front of 20 million people??
But he came back bigger and better, and his dances last night were just incredible in my opinion.
Yes, top rate TV and first class entertainment. ( and I think the viewing figures may prove me right? ) _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
