Who used to tune into Judith Chalmers when she was on Radio 2? She presented the mid-morning slot, 9.30 - 11.00am, Monday to Friday from 1990 to 1992.

What kind of show was it? Did she used to have guests on the show?

I have always been a great fan of Judith! Very Happy

Does anyone remember Judith's sister, Sandra Chalmers? She was a newsreader on the old BBC North Home Service many moons ago.

OK John W. I see it now. I would have thought starting a thread about Judith Chalmers was a bit different, but still. Will the wayward one ever return, I wonder? Rolling Eyes

Briant,

You've known Scott longer than I have. In my lifetime I reckon I've read 36 threads about Judith Chalmers, all started by Scott. This one is certainly the shortest.

John W. Yes, I do know Scott from the old Radio 2 MB especially. We had good laughs over there until the new Stalinist regime took over. I'm sure Lord Evan (Phil Jr,) Helen May, Red Baron etc would agree. Scott and yourself will never see eye to eye, but I have some regard for him, however much I may disagree with his views on 'older people' such as myself, and his musical views on Sinatra and company. It is called being tolerant of the exuberance of youth. Some like it Scott! Laughing

Oh Briant, I do like Scott. We exchange e-mails and he contributes to the r2ok R2_Timeline page regularly (he loves telling me what date his axe-the-show predictions come true) Smile

But given about six chances to contribute positively to this forum he has always fallen back on his old repetitive, argumentative, intolerant self, (regurgitating the same old stuff from five-year-old articles at the Transdiffusion site) which attracts trouble from others, upsets many of the regulars (who send me PMs as soon as there's a whiff of Cloutism). That's what he did, along with the real trolls, at the old R2MB and it's not going to happen here.
