Further changes to Capital 95.8's schedules will be announced this week, after it was revealed presenter Craig Doyle has left the station, broadcasting his final show last Saturday.
According to the Guardian, he is leaving the station to present on ITV Sport and will make his debut in May.
Doyle joined the station in 2005 and has filled in at breakfast for Johnny Vaughan. Before joining Capital, Doyle was best known for presenting BBC1's Holiday programme.
A GCap spokeswoman told The Guardian: "Due to Craig's ITV schedule and family commitments he can no longer commit to a regular show."
"However, Craig will remain with the station working on a series of one-off specials. Details of who will take over his Saturday morning show are yet to be announced."
Doyle's departure is one of over a dozen changes made at the station since the appointment of new Managing Director Paul Jackson in November.

Well it would be pretty hard to do a Saturday am radio show as well as presenting sport on ITV seeing as most sport happens at the weekend. Seems as if he will still do specials though. Capital Radio's answer to Lulu. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
