There seems to be a trend these days of re-releasing "classic" albums in new deluxe versions - at the end of last year we had the Joshua Tree and just the other week Thriller was given the same treatment. This week Simply Red's Stars album was reissued in a special 3 disc set. CD1 contains the original 10 track album, "the Robert Johnson Sessions" (4 tracks) and 6 tracks recorded live in Hamburg on the 1992 tour). CD2 is an 11 track mixes collection while the DVD contains the complete concert from the 1992 Montreux Jazz Festival (25 tracks) and 5 promo videos.

While I'm not a huge Simply Red fan I did buy this album when it originally came out though only on tape. This new release is certainly good value for money with all the extra stuff and is only 12 quid in Sainsburys.
