Another reason to turn Radio 2 off after SOTS, until Gambo comes on in the evening then. Rolling Eyes

Yes indeed. And to think that Saturday was once the day when I was very reluctant to go anywhere because there was so much good stuff on. Have a look at this & weep for the loss of the good times on R2 Crying or Very sad http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/events/newcastle/index.shtml
And yes I know that Janice Long is still on Radio2 thank goodness.

What depressing news.. O'Leary must be the worst presenter ever! now we're expected to put up with three hours of the clown?? no thanks. What a sad day for Radio2. Sad

Maybe not the worst ever. I'd put Russell Brand & Evans as worse than Dermot on R2. There's probably a few on 6 Comedy - oops, sorry - 6 music who may also be worse than Dermot.

Nope, I'd put O'Leary behind even Evans and Brand, can't stand to listen to him waffling on.
At least Evans is lively and remotely entertaining and Brand does make me smile a lot. Very Happy

R2 definitely won't be on during those times, then. Oh for the days when I actually wanted to stay in on a Saturday afternoon and be entertained by the network....
