Have been off work this week so have been listening to some of the daytime Radio 2 shows.

Simply put have enjoyed MB at lunchtimes-imho he is so much better than that drama queen Vine-even the music is really good.

Maybe they should make this a permanent gig for MB.

JV has only been in this slot for a few years so it's hardly likely he'll be replaced just yet.

Everyone has to have holidays and the stand-ins often sound better only for the reason that they are different.

To be honest, a dead giraffe would sound better than Vine the drama queen. The guy honestly hasn't got a clue.

I've got to agree Shocked , now if only they could make more time for more 'important' topics.

The Ex Boss of Radio One who sacked half the staff. I'm cool about that so is Wrighty. Laughing

Matthew has done a superb job covering this week. Hopefully we hear more of him again? Isn't he still working on 5 Live

Have to agree with Mark M. So much better to have a topic announced without Viney sounding like an over-excited schoolboy who's just about to wet his pants.
