If you're after some light reading over the festive period, you could do worse than Bob Harris' The Whispering Years. I know it came out a few years ago, but it gives an interesting insight into the often precarious nature of the Disc Jockey's career. |

I have read this book,and the bit about Bruno Brookes getting custody of Bob Harris's record collection makes me resent the little twonk even more than when he used to do drivetime on Radio 1! _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

I'm just trying to recall if he is the same guy who was giving Bob a lift back from a Radio 1 Roadshow and went completely bananas? I'll have to re-read that. Hillarious! |
