i WONDER WHAT REPOERCUSSIONS THERE WILL BE FOR RADIO 2 now that a new head of BBC radio will be taking over from Jenny Abramsky who is quitting the job? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7340748.stm .Hopefully it will lead to management changes at Radio 2 as well....
I'm told on the grapevine that Radio One boss Andy Parfitt is favourite to succeed Ms Abramsky |

Be careful what you wish for, Radio1 thought that Matthew 'blood on the carpet' Bannister and Trevor 'Hatchet Man' Dann was a good move. _________________ Geddon

Mark,
I wouldn't say She's running Radio 2 into the ground. I think she's pushing the listeners to other networks like Smooth Network and other Radio networks across the UK.

You know things are bad when you find that listening to 'Birdsong' radio is preferable Apparently it gets half a million listeners a week, so I ask myself, why has it not been nominated for a sony award |

Perhaps they should be re-named the Phony Awards? |
