I don't know what's been going on over there, I know the current affairs board has gone which I agreed with because some days it looked like an advertisment for the BNP 
I assume not everyone was happy about it, oh well.
I don't know who this new guy is do you? I know he's called 'temi' but that's about it |

I don't think any of the Admin team know who Temi is either but some are very upset about it all and after reading the posts on the Board Information, I can understand why..
it's all getting a little heated and even talk of breeching the Data Protection Act.

I was just reading that too, it all seems very cloak and dagger dosen't it?
I'm wondering wether I should leave there, it's only a crappy old email address that I used to register with but I do use it for other things too, I don't really want more spam than I already get.

That's pretty much why I stopped going there.
(But then, what can you expect from Vine's listeners? Tolerance and restraint? )
Still a shame about all the troubles going on though. |

I think from what I read Becky has just had enough and wants to back off. I can imagine it's pretty time consuming and exhausting work, particularly from the N&CA section.
But I was surprised the site has a value too.
Another poster is angry because he/she wanted to buy the site but wasn't given a chance.
I hope it all works out and posters don't leave en masse!

All I know is that his company professionally run forums. I would think you are as safe as anywhere else on the internet to be honest, but of course time will only tell.
It wasn't really to do with the content of the board, a sad end all the same.

| I never joined Jezzas because of the Raving Right posters on there. I would have had to argue with them and it would have been time consuming, aggrevating and put my blood pressure up even higher! Good to see some old names from the Radio 2 MB still active though, H, Mike Reynolds, Perks, pondgirl etc. |

It's back but nobody likes the new format. Our avatars have gone and we're apparently all Vine Hostesses now!!

I know the board was shut for a little while whilst some content was removed which breached the rules. I noticed now the forum has gone.
I think we haven't had much interaction since the N&CA board was got rid of on the R2 MB? Jezzas board was good too discuss News, but some fools spoil things.

I get the feeling it will. particularly as it's been down for this long. Posters have migrated to Sizzle's board "Enough Already" and settled in there so why would they return?.

Helen's sent an email to members saying she's now the new owner. She;'s closed the board while they decide on what they're going to do in the future.
I'm glad it's Helen, she's well known and well liked by all. If she decides to re-open the board, things will run smoothly I'm sure.
