Harry Hill used to DJ as well. Radio 2 should offer him a show.

He could do the doctors slot on Vines show as well Smile

It will be interesting to see how they get on. I was pleasently surprised when Mark and Liza stood in last time especially with the CD CV feature which worked much better than Steve's "Oldies".

But who is better, Emma Forbes or Liza Tarbuck??? There's only one way to find out.... FIGHT!!!!

Apologies for the rather rubbish humour I bring.

He did a show or two the Christmas before last (I think) and I would have expected him to do more if TV Burp hadn't taken off.

EMMA Forbes appears to be sitting in for Steve on her own the week May 6-9. I wonder whats happened to Mark that week.Very unusual for Lesley to let a female presenter do a major daytime show on her own...

Harry was on Capital Radio London a few years back doing a weekend show.

Iain couldn't you start posting some of these threads in the whats happening section?

Well I gave it a shot; wasn't too keen on Radcliffe in the 8pm slot as his voice grated a bit, but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Good choice of music, interesting chat with Kiki Dee, Ratcliffe certainly knows his music trivia too. Emma was OK, not heard her before but pleasant enough.

Best of all; no "Love the Show" every ten seconds, not stupid factiods, no Janey Lee Grace wittering, no "Old Woman" whining, no Tim Smith kissing SW's arse, and of course no hackneyed presenter with a massive ego and little talent.

It'll make a change for my radio to be tuned to 88-91 for a whole week of afternoons! Laughing

I've been enjoying Mark and Emma's show this week. A nice change to Steve Wright's format especially the CD CV feature. I think next week with Sally Lindsay could be even better.

One thing that did stand out was the amount of times Mark said "errr" or was it just me?

Are you sure it's Rick Astley? Looks like a young Sir Michael Redgrave to me - maybe Peter Jackson could hire him to play Barnes Wallis in the pending remake of "The Dambusters!" Smile
