Thanks-yes bought the paper today and am pleased with the free CD.

Makes those of us who actually bought the CD really pleased
The advert was stretching things a bit, calling it his "new" album (released 4th June last year). _________________ Ron |

Indeed. Why bother buying any CD, if the artist may end up giving it away free a few months down the line?
It only cost me about the same as the MoS so I'm not too bothered. |

The Mail on Sunday may be giving this away but the supplement in the Sunday Telegraph rather spoiled the effect by calling the album 'atrocious'.

... which was not quite what they said when they reviewed it a year ago.
As I recall both this and the previous Chaos and Creation got quite good reviews (without being outstanding) from the broadsheets, but in reality both were very disappointing, much of Chaos sounding like stuff that might have been rejected at the time of the Beatles' White Album, and much of Memory... sounding like doodling in the studio between proper recordings (in fact the final track, which is just messing about in the studio sounds far better than the rest). _________________ Ron |
