People on benefits is costing the Taxpayer £16 Billion a year. Statistics reveal once people are on the benefits for a year, they are likely to claim them for eight. After two or more years, they are are likely to die or retire than work again. Around 2,000 Brits claim they can't work due to being obese, 50,000 claim due to alcohol related problems and over 8,000 can't get out of the house because they feel dizzy.
More than 35,000 are on benefits or trying too look for a job in South Wales Valleys. Merthyr Tydfil is one of the sick note capitals with so many people sitting on there arses and claiming benefits.
A government report estimated only 70,000 out of 2.7 million people on incapacity benefit truly need it.

This doesn't include those who really need it. Some people we know are just to lazy too do a days work. |

I don't at all condone the sicknote culture but, when you look at how much workplace bullying goes on, it's hard to lay all the blame on those who take sickies.
