Its come to my attention that Alex has not had a single day off this year and has only had one week off since last summer.(that was in december).I'm getting a bit worried about him.EAveryone neds a break sometime, especially when they work nights. He must be entitled to some holiday leave by now!

Not an Alex listener then?

It's fairly common knowledge for those who do listen that....

Alex is off for a whole month from the middle of June- he's doing another American Adventure.. blogging his way across the states in an open top tank. Kelly's Heroes style - in a I don't know how to fix em I just drive em kind of way!

Tim Smith is covering.

Alex also has Monday morning off next week cos he's doing Drivetime on Monday instead Smile

How would we know if Alex was cracking up or not? He's pretty barking at the best of times.

Iain Smith - Alex Lester has had loads of time off this year! Maybe you were too busy being a mole when Alex was absent? Wink

Yes. The annoying Nikki Bedi or excellent Tim Smith usually sit in for him.

His last holiday was in April 2007 and he had some time off at Christmas.

But as for holidays - Mark Lamarr - his Friday night show seems to never be covered by someone else - and, from what I gather, it's live? Even when he's presenting seven hours later during the Wossy Slot.
