Tony and Cherie Blair were nearly in hot water over an unpaid bill at their constituency home, expenses documents released by the Commons show.

What a cheek! All those expenses paid by us, and our licence money has effectively paid for Chris Evan's Ferrari too! Twisted Evil

Thousands of pounds in expenses!!!!

I'm self-employed now and can put stuff to business expense, not just the proper business stuff. My office is in the house so I think I can claim 20% of utility bills as business expense, but I won't get all that back, effectively just 20% of that 20% as tax back. Not a lot.

My work is all local so I do just a little bit of business mileage over the year, in fact only 17.8% of my miles were business, so think I can claim 17.8% of the service, MOT, fuel etc., again I'll just get 20% of that 17.8% back. Not a lot.

Confused

I do hope John, Chris Evans has not collected over £5 Million from the licence fee since being back at the Beeb. There again he must have collected a huge amount whilst at Radio One which helped towards the car? Laughing

I thought he was broke after his split with Billie, so I assumed his fortune now HAS come from the BBC?

My measly claims for business expenses from 20% household bills will be just a few hundreds of pounds. I wonder, if I had the kitchen re-kitted out for £15,000, could I claim 20% as business expense since our MPs seem to do that Evil or Very Mad

No Billie didnt take a cut of Evans money when they divorced. He has about £50-60m in the bank form the sale of Virgin & Ginger productions to SMG
