Yes, today is Beatle Day in Liverpool and the city is buzzing with tourists. Some of them looked really funny with their Sgt Pepper coats and lots of people were wearing Beatle wigs. Lovely Rita and myself went to the Hard Day's Night Hotel and listened to a few of the bands playing downstairs in 'Harry's Bar!' The new shopping centre 'Liverpool One' was very busy too. BBC Radio Merseyside are having a three hour sing-along in their new studios performance space with popular local DJs Billy Butler and Frankie Connor. The weather is good today too. Not long now till the Mathew Street Festival weekend. Hey, I sound like a blogger! Laughing
