BBC Radio 2 saw a drop in listeners from last quarter's all-time high, with a weekly reach of 13 million listeners (13.12m last year and 13.63m last quarter). Share at 16% is up on the year (15.6%) but down on the quarter (16.5%).

Wake Up To Wogan has 7.75 million listeners tuning in each week – down on last year's 7.92m and last quarter's record 8.10m. It remains the most popular breakfast show in the country.

No worries for Wogan - he's still a fair distance ahead at the top, and it's worth noting that Moyles lost more listeners. I'm pretty sure he takes these trivial matters to heart much more than Sir Tel!

Does anyone know the specifics for any other shows? Always interesting to know (particularly Saturday afternoons since Stuart left, and weekday shows daytime) Cool

So, an increase for Radio 3 is the good news.

Well I suppose an increase is better than a drop but the figures at R3 are still worrryingly low, that figure 1.9million is still in their bottom 5 lowest-ever figures. A long way to go to match Classic FM, but of course that is not the purpose of R3 Rolling Eyes

Many Congratulations to Neil Fox of Magic on securing the position of the most popular Breakfast Show in London-audience reach of some 844,000.

Doubt it - LD will only employ tv faces now, preferably foul-mouthed and shouty Rolling Eyes

Its the more music less talk format that is getting him the good figures.

It wouldn't work on Radio 2.

Exactly Ernie-that is that format that is working/what people want in the morning.

Neil Fox is a good presenter and he knows his music.

Ratings always drop during the summer months. I guess that when the next set of RAJARs are released in October, Radio 2 will see an increase in listeners.

Does anyone have RAJAR info on individual Radio 2 presenters?

Thanks,

Peter.
