Shall look forward to that, though I've got used to Aled - he's all right.
He's not afraid to comment or show his displeasure at news or events or, yesterday morning, the non-appearance of one of his guests (comedian Tom Crane).

Agree Aled is OK but to be woken by Brian Matthew on Saturday and Roger Royle on Sunday is sheer perfection.

Aled has been doing "Good Morning Sunday" from either Manchester or London early on Sunday Morning after doing two shows for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on the Saturday in Cardiff.
Schools have broken up, his family have joined him Cardiff for the rest of the summer, and I guess he would like a day off a week to spend with his children. I think that is why he will not be doing GMS for 2 weeks. |

I think it was from Manchester last Sunday? It be a nice Holiday in Cardiff, maybe he will get away later in the year?? |

It won't exactly be much of a holiday for him in Cardiff, Mark - he will still be appearing in Chitty 8 times a week! But at least will have a couple of Sundays off to be with his family rather than heading off to Manchester or London at 11.00 at night after two pretty exhausting shows on the Saturday, to be in the studio at 6.00 am for GMS!
The Sunday just gone I think GMS was from London, the previous week from Manchester. Either way it is quite a traipse from Cardiff after spending the afternoon and evening on stage in a very active show |
