So it's a temporary farewell from me as I go on holiday.

After all the excitement of Canada in 2007, we're staying in the UK this year.

Shall eventually get to the Eden Project in Cornwall via Chester and Bourton-on-the-Water and shall return via Somerset, the Peak District and Yorkshire.

Pray for some better weather for us.

Shall hit the big six-oh during the holiday. Do you think that Mrs W has remembered to tell Brian Matthew for SOTS? We'll see.

I'll be back towards the end of the month.

Best wishes to all.

Ian.

Have a good break Ian... oh he's gone already Smile

Well, we had three holidays last year and I wanted Mrs W and I to have just a nice Brit hol this summer but still just haven't decided on anything with the weather lousy

So she's moaning 'we haven't been anywhere, how about Spain?' and I'm I'm saying 'but the football season starts tomorrow', and 'you can come with me to Barnsley next Saturday.....'

Mrs W is NOT amused Confused

Bon voyage Ian. Cornwall sounds as though it has been a bit wet and woolly this summer, but I'm sure it will perk up for you.

Bourton's nice, but it will be busy. Will keep an ear out for you on Saturdays.

And so another fortnight flies by.

A good holiday but, boy, was it wet!

Am now applying for my bus pass.

Shall look around the site and get posting again as time permits.

Thanks for kind remarks. I heard SOTS in bits on the last two Saturdays and don't think they got round to including Mrs W's request.

Ian.

Welcome back, Ian.

I didn't hear all of the 16th's SOTS but I think you may have been cold-shouldered again Sad
