Have enjoyed this ever since it started a few years ago and thought that last night's edition, on Dad's Army, was marvellous.
My only small gripe was that, though they showed a clip involving the late Edward Hardwicke, they didn't mention what a perfect foil for the Vicar his verger character was.
Noticed that, even 35 years later, Ian Lavender was visibly upset as he spoke about the early death of his fellow star James Beck.
By the way, did anyone hear Frank Williams (Vicar) on GMS a few weeks ago, on one of the programmes on which Roger Royle sat in for Aled. Who else remembers FW as the mother-fixated Captain Pocket in the Army Game from 1959 to 61?
